i did search, the one in this thread is the american the grudge, i posted the japanese the grudge

and the date is wrong, the american the grudge is from 2004 not 2002, 2002 is the date of the japanese the grudge :beerchug:

first there's the straight to video japanese ju-on and sequel which are both from 2000

Or maybe it would have been better to have used the english translation for the title as in the sequel posted below i.e Ju-On The Grudge. Cant do much about the filename thou. All 4 have english title but better to leave the Ju-On in front of it ,makes it easier to tell them from the american remakes :wink:

I was once going to make a Ju-On collection with all the movies (as apparently the American remake and the sequels are considered part of the series following the 4 Japanese movies), if anybody's interested, I can still do that, it will just take a bit of time, I think I even have most of them still on my HDD.

btw there are also 2 Takashi Shimizu shorts that serve as prequels to it all and Sam Raimi's "Tales From the Grudge", which serve as the prequel(s) to the American one. :mrgreen:
