and it still sucked....

I did rip the dvd aswell, tried to do a 2cd but came out at 1.26g :oops:

@dr phil, can you try rerip if its undersized? Use Gknot proper if you aren't, and increase the resolution if your codecs saturated. Also, don't undersell the quality of your rips by over compressing the screenshots, at a mere 36kb that second image can't be representative of the rip, and you can see artifacts like on the arm of the guy with the hammer. You need to use a maximum of 10 for jpeg compression, and take screenshots with nandub (which will be on your machine as it comes with both gknot and autogknot)

If you release something that's undersized its liable to get propered, so its worth the time doing rerips

There's also another trick for undersized rips. Set the bvop ratio to 1.40 (on the menu where you choose your quantization matrix and there's the b-vop settings), and all the quantizers from 2 to 1 on the other menu. That will force it not to undersize, but if you've got the ability to increase resolution do so to make sure the bits are better spent, as long as your not zooming the source its the best option

Well there's already a 1cd in the first post though. To be honest, personally, i've not seen the movie so its not something i'd probably grab a 2cd for.

DVD itself was duel layer so i did the rip to practice bigger rips as i cant seem to get the size right so the tip is very welcome

(did all the star wars for my kids, set them all to 2cd and they all came out different sizes :lol:

still they all fit on a dvd )
