OK, my bad. :)

Anyway, quality of the rip is ok and it has no b/w scenes or property messages. FYI, in case people want to watch this and not wait for the retail version.

I was expecting worse. The timing is off, it's stupid but not an all-time low. Guess I've seen too many B.A.D. movies... :wacky:

really? i thought it was as bad as "Alone in the Dark" myself, i really couldn't watch it.

There's two types of "bad" movies, watchable ones and unwatchable ones. The former is where its crap, but at least there's some entertainment value whether its laughing at how bad it is, or the sfx/whatever. Then there's unwatchable ones, where its just a waste of time.

Guess I'm just a fan. I enjoyed the movie. It was big stupid loud brash bad-acting fun. At least its not filmed on a camcorder, like some of the stuff out there. And who cares who keeps giving him money for his films? They have all been just like I described above (although I cringed at every video game sequence in House of the Dead). And I thought to really give someone shit about their movies, you had to have seen them all. Has anyone seen Blackwoods yet besides me? Just curious. Bip......a freak among the mighty...lol. :eatthis:

I have yet to see 'Alone in the Dark'. I got it somewhere one DVD-R but after reading all the reviews I couldn't get myself to watch it. :)

'Bloodrayne' popped up while I was in a rather tolerant mood and with my LOW expectations it wasn't really possible for the movie to piss me off. Plus the first 30 minutes have some decent (albeit CGI) gore. :)

Damn, what I've just written reminds me of 14 years ago. I could watch pretty much everything as long as it provided decent gore. Now, at 30 years, I seem to go in circles.

Anyway, the movie was ok for me at the time I watched it. I give it a 4 out of 10. That's a stunningly high score for a 'Bollshit' movie I guess. :D

Sounds like a fun evening. I'll have to DL the commentary, I don't think I have it. :)

yeah i've not heard it myself but apparantly the commentary makes it watchable as uwe boll has absolutely no idea how completely talentless he is. He honestly believes that everyone else is wrong, rants at critics as being against him, and compares himself established director's. He also has the nerve to criticise other film makers about stuff he can't even do himself

It certainly sounds like a way i can make it past the 10min mark in that movie, but i'm not spending another kb on that movie

The commentary recommendation has made it onto his wikipedia entry, so it sounds like its a classic.

maybe we should have some kind of post where, if we had Uwe's money, we would post what Idea for a film we had, and who would be cast, and so on. Sounds like a fun idea. And I don't feel bad for the bashing a critic gets from anyone, even Boll. Lets see their movie making credentials. They are as bad as the critics in the music industry. Anyway, I'm not the one to start this type of thread. I'd have no idea how to do it. But it sounds like a fun thread. If one has been posted in the past, I'd like to read it. Bip. :eatthis:

Actually, weird as it sounds, I'd have to agree with Mr. Bollocks here. Some boobs (even though I have no earthly idea who that slut is and what she's famous for, I only read her interview about that movie in which she sounded dumber than my doorknob) can add a lot (and help a lot!) to a movie, specially a "special" movie, like any of his... Like the saying goes, "A little boobs can go a long way" -- or as an old Chinese saying goes: "You can do battle with strength, you can do battle with wit, but no weapon can beat a great pair of tits."

Shit, I must have been watching the wrong Lynch movies all those years! :suicide:

Yeah, sounds like it would be a treat, but I'm also not going to waste a single kb on downloading any more of Bollock's bollocks. In fact for me his name on a dvd cover is the best antipiracy protection ever developed. :shadey:
