Mascareiro, im afraid im not going to be able to shoot down your expectations on this one. This movie was pretty awesome. So, lets see, one point for movies that lived up to the hype and, like, 5 points for movies that didnt.

Don't let the language barrier stop you from watching and enjoying this fine piece of cinema.

Thought the first 3/4 of this was excellent, the seance/medium scene was in particular was superb.

The ending though, well, it just lost all the tension and atmosphere and lapsed into predictability and cliche.

I know I'm one of the grumpiest, hard to please types on here, and it's otherwise extremely good, but the last twenty minutes really deflated the spooky balloon for me.

Yeah, maybe the ending is a little too weak compared with the rest of the movie, but it also has got a nice explanation about the whole event, and that's cool ; anyway this is one of the greatest ghost-flick I've ever seen in my life, I love spanish movies and this is a great effort; it's creepy, well directed and constructed, with a couple of unbelievable scares and a lot of suspance built on a superb use of sounds and some creatives camera's movements; plus, the orphanage is so grim in the dark of night, even if it's not creepy as the old lady

Kudos to the little Roger Princep (Simon), a great performance for a 10 years old boy :beerchug:

Vobsub works fine with Media Player Classic.

I don't know where the subs are at, but take a look at our subs thread.

Anyway, didn't spot the post about subs; SRTs will play natively with bsplayer, mplayer, mpc, vlan and zoomplayer. With Directvobsub they usually play with everything. For simplicities sake i recommend media player classic (MPC)
