Can you change that setting or is that how mldonkey is?

I really doubt there is a problem with my client. If it would not announce the parts I have, how could other clients download from me? And believe me, they do. ;-)

I don't think your understanding what i meant. You always show up in my queue showing no parts downloaded(ie-the progress bar beside your nick in my queue is completely blank all the time) where as all the other clients show which parts they've got. Hence the reason why i asked if the mldonkey client hides the parts they've downloaded in the progress bar(All mldonkey clients in my queue show blank progress bars) but the clients still know what you've downloaded only the person using the client can't tell what you've got and haven't. It just makes it hard for the uploader to know how much of the file you got where i could have given a friend slot to help you finish if you only had a couple parts left

Interesting. Maybe mldonkey shows you only parts you need. Since you have the file complete it does not bother to send you info about parts you have anyways. This could be consistent with my progress bar, which often is gray with single green and read stripes. Green for a chunk the other client has and I need and red when I have part he needs. Gray are probably the parts we both have.
