I got 80%of this via ftp and suddenly I can't connect to Dxa's server. We have tried everything - to no effect. The only thing we know is that I can connect to other ftp's and other people can log onto Dxa's ftp. We can't ping each other and we can't send files via messengers.

I will try to get it the normal way - I can see it's pretty well spread after these few weeks. Even better than the uffowich's version ;)

Well right now I have only Traces of Death 3 shared out plus another file for someone here so that might be the problem...There are other sources though..stange on how you can't see it...give me another 2 days with both these files shared out and then I will put up my regular released files.

Thought you were still sharing it @Dxa and I just couldn't see you. In this case you'll have to reshare the file, as there are still a few chunks missing. It's almost fully covered though, so 2-3 days should suffice.

Cheers.

Hey Dxa, I can see you! Looks like there's still some chance I'll complete the flick! Spreading nicely, but you'll have keep it shared for a few days.

Cheers.

There's a discussion now on sci-fi about quality and it being uncut.

this release is runs at 29.97, is that normal for a DVD?
I thought they mostly run at 23.97 or 25fps

It is uncut...it was an american releases that quickly got jerked.....believe me..it is uncut.....now to say whether I used proper ivtc or not...well..your guess is as good as mine....by the way...sci-fi who????? :P Thsi is another one I did up long time ago....like 2000 or something....very long time ago.....so let the discussions and debates continue...I could care less....i won't even try to defend my earlier work excpet to say that yes..this was the true uncut of this film.I wouldn't have taggted it otherwise and quite frankly..wouldn't have wasted my time on ripping it if it was cut

thanks for the explanation :)

Although Spud words on a version of Fortress 2 are as following

"and framerate, 29fps is a nuke

*moved to low-Q*
"

I understand man...but it wasn't a 25 fps and I don't think it was even a forced film issue...I remember having a bit of trouble ripping it though in the beginning...gotta remember though..this seems like ages to me....Once I put out a definitive DxaRip collection now that that tag is long and dead R.I.P.(Except for Dark Shadows of Course) you will see just how much I have gone through over the many years I have been doing this shit  I just wonder if this site can take the pain of movies like Earthquake and Midway :P
