This movie wasn't all that bad but they could have fleshed out the story a bit more. Apparantly the studio execs made the director trim the running time to try to make it more of a horror film when it was intended to be a thriller I believe. Maybe a directors cut will show up eventually.

I'm not sure how she gets all of these roles to be honest. She is easy on the eyes, which is probably the #1 reason why she finds work. But it is a bit said when her best acting performance was in Scooby Doo...and no, I'm not joking about that either.

I don't care for Sarah Michelle Gellar. That I hate this particular movie was definitely not her fault. It was simply too slow, too boring. When I watch a movie I want to be entertained. I want an interesting story. I don't watch a movie to see for minutes how a woman picks her nose, walks for minutes through a dark forest with a scared face, or talks 90% of the film some rubbish, which has nothing to do with the story. And don't tell me anything about 'art' or 'mood', this usually is only an excuse to blow up some half baked brain bubble to movie length. I watched this one for 22 minutes and still did not know what was going on, or saw something interesting. Then I started using fast forward. Whenever I stopped it still was some lame crappy fill scenes, which where at least four times longer than necessary to pass on some 'message'. Thanks, but no thanks. Though technically ok, i.e. it is not some indie crap taken with a handycam, this one is still one of the worst flicks I ever deleted.
