no, it really does sound better and the difference is about 20-50mb increase. If your talking 1cd or a long movie its more of an issue. Or if its a remix that doesn't sound good.

Reason i ask is that i've always read that you should use AC3 wisely ( whatever that means ), seems to be less of an issue now that alot of people are making bigger rips

that's off a user's sig/tdx from about 5 years ago, your thinking of notimportant right? He could be a whiney little sod if he wanted to be, always talking about bad interleaving (causes choppy playback on gameboys  ). The wisely and correctly was referring to that :)

No you can re-evaluate that 5 year old advice, i think its safe to reconsider its use in the modern environment of ripping :)

I am not sure this film warrants a 1.4GiG download, seriously. To me this is a poor Fulci.

Yes. If the source is from a R2 DVD, then the rip will be PAL

Quote:
A young family moves from their cramped New York City apartment to a spacious new home in New England. But this is no ordinary house in the country: the previous owner was the deranged Dr. Freudstein, whose monstrous human experiments have left a legacy of bloody mayhem. Now, someone - or something - is alive in the basement, and home sweet home is about to become a horrific hell on earth.

The House By The Cemetery features a mind-blowing onslaught of throat-ripping, skull-knifing, maggot-spewing and more from Lucio Fulci, 'The Godfather of Gore.' Considered to be one of the master's last great films, this outrageous Italian shocker is now presented uncut, uncensored and - for the first time ever - digitally transferred from the original camera negative!
