Nope, absolutely not. Most zombie movies are crap. However, this one isn't. It has some comedy, a little gore, interesting story and decent acting. Hmm, this probably means you crap lover will hate it as too mainstream. :-)

No, sorry, I respectfully, yet strongly, disagree. This one is also crap.

The first thirty minutes shows some promise, in the same way that so many films do. However this soon becomes a boring, poorly scripted, tiresome sack of piss.

Lots of 80s pop-culture refrences. Oh, ha ha.
Tired, lazy zombie film 'in jokes'. Blah, blah, friggin blah.
A brief deconstruction of the orginal 'Dawn' versus the remake, like it was written by an unimaginative teenager desperate to impress their 'film studies' tutor.
Sorely lacking in orginality.

Sorry to rant, but I'm getting REALLY bored of the creatively redundant, badly made zombie flicks that make it on to DVD since the collective interest was reignited by 28 Days Later etc. The weight of rubbish is obscuring the occasional few good ones that get made.

I say this as a HUGE fan of horror films and Zombie flicks as a sub genre...

I'm very, very, very drunk. I'll fight anyone who wants to disagree.

(Until I sober up in the morning, when I'll just hide and pretend I'm not in.)

As a final note, I'd like to say I will always be VERY greatful for those of you who post the links to these films. All the above is not intended at anyone personally. I'm ONLY voicing my opinoin.
