Source: the Dutch R2 PAL DVD which is titled "Shadows" (English title for Tenebrae). This DVD is "more uncut" than the Anchor Bay DVDrips. This one has both stabs in the flashbackscene, for example.

Nice actually. Thanks Slayer. This is one best available to date and totally uncut. If you notice the early flashback sequence is in bright daylight, the one at the beach, but the subsequent ones with the stabbings are quite dark, almost like night-time. My guess is they used a different print during that repeated scene because the original print was damaged. Just an observation.

So what? This is the FULL UNCUT VERSION. The other rip claimed to be uncut but was since verified as cut. This is a ~90 minute movie with stereo sound (I thought it was mono but I could be mistaken) so no need for 1.4gig, and uncut beats 1.4gig any day of the week.

If you really like a 1,4 Gig rip, I can rip it again and double the size for you if you really, really want it. Considering quality I think you should try out this one first. It's quite good, if I may say so myself.

But: I'm gonna let this spread out first. My guess is that a lot of people will want to replace their old rips.

This is a good example of how runtimes dont necessarily mean a lot, its down to how many frames.
The 1.4g rip from MOSBRiKA - Duration: 01:40:33 (144,644 fr)
Slayers rip - Runtime......: 01:36:53 (145,330 fr)

I have a hdtv and smaller rips are becoming more visibly flawed the bigger the resolution/screens get

Of course, but I hope you understand that it has a very low priority. I have several other titles to release that I couldn't find on this site, so I prefer to get them out there first.

That's why I actually preferred a cheaper 720 """""hdtv"""""" instead of the complete 1024 or better res, the 720 is far better for my "trained resolution eyes", so the smaller the resolution, the better quality it gives; in other words, hdtv likes to be not discret (show all the flaws) therefore very disturbing for my eyes... save a buck and save your avi collection (huge avi collection) with one shot hehehe
