What I have to say about this one:
I deleted this piece of junk after the scene with the dead gypsy woman. When I want to see horror even horror comedy I want to see blood and something supernatural. So far: Check. But when I want to see something really disgusting, which I never do, I'd download some Japanese vomit or worm eating junk flick. If this is the new Raimi quality I change to Boll movies.

I don't know how anyone can call themselves a fan of Raimi's former glory, and then bash this movie. He basically brings back all the Looney Tunesesque slapstick and gross out rather than gore.
I didn't love it, but I did think it was a serviceable refreshing return to form from Mr. Raimi.

This could have been a okay movie but the CGI destroyed it for me. The idea with a gypsy spell is a decent one but Ramie managed to fuck it up. That being said since the movie has some parts that is okay, I'm not a hater of it. I have never been a big fan of Raimi cause of the overuse of slapstick and action, rather than psychological horror.

can't understand why are you so pissed about it  that scene with the gypsy prop with lemon juice coming from it's mouth wasn't that disgusting at all  back to the movie: slightly better than the last US horror movies that was recently released, but nothing really special. yeah, and i really hate these so-called computer "special effects" - there was too much of them in this movie... btw - sam raimi's idea with the gypsy's car put a smile on my face  ah, sweet memories... back in the old good evil dead and ash times

If you think that this scene wasn't disgusting... Fine, it is a matter of taste. And if this was the only scene I would have laughed and continued watching. But there was 'snot' scene at the bank and the fight in the cars wasn't that pleasant either. I just expected it would continue that way. Skin someone alive, cut a few teenies up...fine, this is what horror is about (at least one type). I love to see attempts to scare me, but I hate it when someone tries to make me puke.

This one is on my miss list after Raimi's recent output; spider-man 3 is shambolic, spider-man 2 is crap, spider-man 1 hasn't stood the test of time.

i don't understand why the fuck people accepted and rated this one so good... well, its ok, but not some gem at all... Its cause of commercial or what, i dont really understand - but i really would like to know "why?". Whats so special in it?  PS: maybe some people could use imagesize tag to resize those screenshots?.......

I can speak only for myself but it has everything i love about Raimi(well, pre-Spiderman Raimi). Anyway hero/heroine gets in serious threat by super-natural powers because of his/her actions which are short-sighted,motivated by basic instincts ,selfish and because of that somewhat stupid.(Evil Dead,right?) Raimi then puts character to hell and back,mocking his attempts to escape.Along with him audience laughs. It's funny . I can't tell did i just watched a horror,comedy or action movie. Not new concept,many did the something similar,but i like his way.  But it seems to me that Drag me to Hell has more "serious" note in today's world where bankers rule and money is everything,people in US losing their homes over 3000 $ debt. It's entertaining when Raimi drags one banker to hell!
