haha tell me about it, this is playing at a theater 2 minutes from me but I've been waiting to watch it quietly alone at home (as I prefer with ghost movies as the second viewing will NEVER have the same effect, so if a bunch of screamy fuckers ruin it the first time you're damned)... I think I know what to expect from this one too, BUT quality-wise I'm waiting for something along Devil's Backbone... so, let's see... don't forget to get your ass back here after watching and shoot down my expectations

in all seriousness though, garth from darkhorizons.com listed this as honorable mention for best movie of the year (not just horror) and ive agreed with his reviews more consistently than most other sites. so, i feel a sense of reassurance that this one will not disappoint. but, im out of town right now though and wont be able to check this out til i get home monday

Ensure they are named exactly the same as the movie and they will be automatically played in any decent playback software. I use mpc because its rather lightweight. If your talking standalones, its highly dependent on whether your hardware is remotely good, xbmc will just play it without incident

The part spud forgot to mention is that its very important that you install VobSub which is free & can be found via google search or you won't have the subtitle playback filters installed

you don't need vobsub for srts, or i don't have it installed anyway.... They play out of the box with mpc, zoomplayer, etc. You only need directvobsub for .idx, .sub/.rar packs  subs and alternative rip added to the first post. As soon as an AFR hits the street I'll frontpage this thread

Maybe I've not reformatted for such a long time, but I could never get .srt subs working let alone anything else until I installed VobSub but I only ever used BSPlayer & for the last 6 months I've been using VLC.
