that is sick little flick! few scenes are really eye openers 
didn't expect much at FF this year - Jamie Blanks, c'mon? Urban Legends or Valentine, anyone? but after the screening i was quite impressed! and this one proves that good survival can be shot in a film studio!
however first half is dull and boring.

Thanks! wasn't waiting for this, but was actually waiting to check the movie for a good while now, great. English subs? (australian movie means 30% of lost information withou subs to me)
On a sidenote I hope dimension doesnt scew up the dvd cover for À L'interieur or Inside when it gets released, this cover for storm.. is actually ok, but a piece of art compared to most crap under the (oversized and ugly) Dimension Extreme label... Hopefully they'll do good with the french flick preserving the extra features and providing a decente art for the cover, that movie deserves the best in all departments, even more since it's not getting a theatrical treatment of any sort... frigging great movie.

So I skimmed this to find potential view for my Newyear get together/ movie marathon, and that part with the fishing line and all the tools looked pretty badass.
My question is, does this fit more into the crazy backwoods folks type stuff or more towards the torture porn genre?
So far my movie list is
-Triangle
-Someone Behind You
-Flashpoint
-Storm Warning
-Shrooms
I was thinking 2 Action/Drama 2 Horror, but as you can see I have 3 Horror. heh.

not surprising. 1st act i found to be a yawner too, 2nd act quite gripping, 3rd begins with the chick/heroine having a temporary gi jane episode, which was a bit ridiculous, then it gets better again, but struggling hard not to delve too deep into the big cliché-pool of horror stereotypes.
i liked it better than the similar vacancy; although even in its good moments, storm warning never quite manages to deliver the max possible. the showdown-killings, without givin away any details, were pretty fun; compared to the murderin and butcherin in other recent horror flix (boogeyman 2 comes to mind for instance), the fatalities/kill scenes could even be considered excellent.
all in all, a decent little flick for rainy days (nights).

The usual .idx and .sub. Vobsub's arrow shows up, and i can choose language ...but no subs are shown. I tried VLC and nothing also. Maybe the position of the subs is out of screen... dunno I guess i'll have to rip the subs
