Guys, thanks so far. I really don't want to question anyones authority or something, but is it possible to show a IMDB link? Or any other info? Don't get me wrong, I am almost sure John Doe picked something special out (i hope&pray:) Still, before I add something into my "cart" I need some raw basic infos. Would some of you be so kind? Thx in advance. Also, next question, is it okay that we (I) jump cross over inside threads recommending & talking about other movies as well? I don't want to be accused of making mess inside forum threads other people used to advertise or share their babies in the first line.

Dust off created some nice subs for Ju-On 2. The .smi format is great and his style of subbing is awesome, too. But, I'm still going to give a polish. I probably won't post my new ones on kloofy's since it would be a bit of an insult to what he has done. I will post a mule link here, though, in case anyone is interested.

I've never used .smi subs before. How do I use these or better, what mediaplayer plays them?

I use zoom player with vobsub installed. BsPlayer probably plays them by default, as it does with other types. If you can play other subs, you should be able to play these. If not, try vobsub.

Thanks I'll try Zoomplayer with vobsub. I think I tried it with Bsplayer once, but it didn't work. We'll see :beerchug:

Well I'll be damned. It lived up to the Ju-On name. :) The fourth movie in the series and it manages to stay fresh...and continues to make me uncomfortable. Now that is a sign of a damn fine horror series.

Thanks again for the fixed subs Chadman. They were much much better. :beerchug:

Stromjunkie: There should be a link for the original TV Ju-On earlier in this thread (on the first page I believe).

John, I wait ca. 10-15 minutes, and if those sources don't show up meanwhile, I change the server and wait for additional 15 minutes. Still nothing...and I say 'goodby for now' to whatever of thingy that was. Thanks for reminding me about the other CD. That one slipped out of my hands because of wild "link'n & click'n" around ]8~)

Btw, all those Korean people have daam fast connects. They appear here with lightspeed and upload half or the entire movie in less then 3 hours, or so. Half of that list arrived already. Asians are great, regardless if their movies hit my taste or not :P

What's your bandwidth then ? I mean a 512 up isn't that uncommon (US,canada,Continental :P Europe)anymore either.....though prices vary heavily...
a 512 will transfer you a (700mb) movie WITHIN 5 hours...

Addix, yes, there is a list but I can't ID the TV release out of it. Could you please fwd. a link? That would be nice, easy to access and simoultan the most uncomplicated way to ID something 120%correct. Thx. Don't forget, you are a fan of that sequel parade and you know almost all about it. While others, like me, just started to explore these unknown worlds. :)

Chadman, I expect you did some good work around the subs. You mentioned something like you would work on other sets of sub improvements as well? For which movies, if I may ask.
:beerchug:

@John, my text about "Suicide Club" was shifted on pause for some time. I would like to see some of those above mentioned movies too, before I post my impressions :D

lol.
If I were that unpatient I'd not have gotten ahold of half of all the movies I now possess. Some files have been in my que for months and then suddenly a full source will appear.

Also you should remember that if you're getting a 2 cd rip it might be best to get one at the time or you might not see full sources for both, because it's the same sources who has both and you can only ask for one at the time.

btw, you DO know aboot the asian cinema forum?

hi ohgodnotanotherone,
I have flatrate. 1500 down & 256 up...in ideal case. That is, if those lungdunum server guys don't mess around with their latest "highway traffic improvements" or play otherwise hide and seek the entire lovely day long ]8~)

Yeah, that "gay emule rule" I experienced yesterday for the first time. :wacky:

What? You wait for some files...months long? None per me! I made only one exception in that regard. For the miniseries 'Band Of Brothers' (sharereactor). For some reason it takes ages to download one 800MB file. And you need many of them to yell one day "COMPLETED!!!"

Thx for the link. Appreciated.

That is the original TV Ju-On.

Just FYI, the second one on the list, Ju-On 2, is the 2nd made for TV movie and Ju-On: The Grudge (third set of links) is the theatrical release. That is the order they should be watched in also.

If you retry on cure, battle royale and versus I think you'll find plenty full sources for both cds on all.
