Plot:
A cruel and sadistic baron that died years before is brought back to life and wants to resume his old past times.Directed by Mario Bava this film is probably one of his finest works comparible to Blood and Black lace with a gothic background. The Baron himself is quite a hideous fellow and seems very content in chasing H.P.A Elke Sommers around the castle, much to her dismay.
A lesson to be learned in this film...when you find an ancient parchment that has an incantation to raise the dead...Don't read it out loud!!At least not in that castle.

Yeah,I'll post the screens later

I consider this his best...Alot of people like Bay of Blood but there is a comic twist in that one while this one is straight ahead horror mood, the sets are fabulous for this movie and the use of colors are used real well like suspiria or Deep red from Argento, can see where alot of people get there inspiration from that is for sure after watching this film.Parts remind me of Friday the 13th..don't ask me why.Glad you guys are interested,I was real suprised to find it wasn't available on edk yet.A nice Iron Maidon murder takes place as well as some other goodies, not as graphic as Bay of Blood but it sure makes up for it in so many other ways.
