999-9999 (2002-Thailand)
(english subtitle)
Director : Peter Manus

ed2k: Thai.Movie.-.999-9999.avi  [581.01 Mb] [Stats]

At Chang Mai International High School, the body of a girl is found impaled to the flagpole of the school. The police are baffled by how the girl got impaled so high up and no one knows the details of the murder. So when a new transfer student from Chang Mai High arrives at Phuket High, it's big news.
The "cool" kids at the high school, known as the "Daredevil Club," are quick to tease the girl to find out what she knows about the impaled girl. The transfer student, Rainbow (Sririta Jensen), tells them about an urban legend where if you dial the number 999-9999 after midnight, a voice comes on to ask what you wished for and the wish will be granted soon after, but the callers always wind up dead. Not believing Rainbow, one of the members call and ask for a Ferrari. Obviously, the next day he wins a sweepstakes and drives home with a Ferrari . . .

Think Final Destination with the violence turned way up. Lots of beautiful stars and buckets of blood and gore make this Thai film rather enjoyable. The plot is kind of cheesy and the acting will fry some of your braincells, but 999-9999 has some pretty inventive ways to die; most of which are horridly gruesome. There's a scene where the guy's intestine is hanging out of his stomache as he falls out a window and his intestine is strapped to the window. Imagine that - 20 foot long intestine hanging out the window all the way down to the ground. Not a pretty sight folks.

that other thai slasher '303 - Fear Faith Revenge' was SLITGHTLY better, but still quite horrible to sit through.
