The cover on junkboys post says: does to the slasher genre what 28 days later did to zombies so that suggests its a erm, slasher horror

I'm with elchup, this is a dark, violent drama (and a superb one that I think anyone who posts here would enjoy), but not a horror really and definitely not a slasher.
Have you seen this, BadBugs? You can't go by poster quotes - they're there to sell the movie to whatever audience the distributor thinks it will appeal to, and it wouldn't be the first film to be promoted as the popular genre that horror is at the moment when it ain't (e.g. Cold Creek Manor).
