Notes:
I know it's ac3 again, when it doesn't really need to be. Besweet took a crap on me and locked up my system. I'm going to try ac3 tool on my next rip. Also, the white bars at the bottom of each screenshot is not a bad cropping, it's Microsoft Paint leaving it 'cause I guess I didn't match the little dotted line up well enough.
Anyway, I thought I'd try my hand at a high-quality rip, and noticed that there was only a low quality rip of this. I hope it makes the cut.

AC3 is fine in a 1.46GB rip. Investigate screenshots in Virtualdubmod, and upgrade to Xvid 1.1.3 and you'll be right on track.

GIMP is open source and similar functionality to photoshop.

i'm a bit confused... ¿is there something wrong with virtualdubmod's "snapshot source frame" (Shift-1)?

No but you need to paste it into a paint editor as it just copies to clipboard, quickest way to do screens is play in vlc and choose snapshot; will save a lossless png of the current frame.

VDM's snapshot (default Shift+1) directly asks for desired location & filename for the screenshot, in & as which it will save in either bmp, png or tga. I think you're confusing this with Ctrl+1, spud - Ctrl+1 sends the source frame to the clipboard, as you describe.

Yes.. that's what i was talking about. direct screenshot without the need of pasting in crappy/overbloated software like microsoft paint/photoshop. Gimp rules, btw
