After the death of her husband, Countess de Moncourt teams up with the telepathic Dr. Gambier, and flexes some of her skills as a medium at a party where a seance is being held. She soon discovers that the host of the party has designs on the land left by her late husband, and, with the aid of a dwarf, plots a devilish way to exact her revenge on him.
