Yeah there's rumours Roman Polanski likes them young aswell, if true not good but whats that got to do with being a great director or good movies.
Theres loads of films about sexual perversion - this one just tops them all with its explicit content but he was actually following the story quite faithfully and made a great movie (well I think) from it.

Disgusting.

I have no problem with John Waters Pink Flamingos, but this one and that other one I mentioned were just too overboad "I Needs to shock em' as gross as I can" flicks..
the film "Sweet Movie"; Is worse than "salo" btw, It starts off as a funny satire into a shock and perversion desending into hell.
Anything showing and exploiting scatology and children perversions as a form of a message/art just sickens me ooooooooh YUCK! I can't find any purpose for the visuals sorry i can't understand it. :beerchug:

Pasolini was gay and loved young men (not kids). He went to the beach one evening to find a gigolo and was killed. I read the autopsy: he had a hundred cigarette burns on the body and the murderer drove his car twenty times over his body. His murderer, Pino Pelosi stayed only a month in jail. The italian government hated Pasolini's guts with passion: he was a polemic writer (he had a weekly tribune in "La corriere della serra") and he was overtly gay (at the time, a terrible sin).
Pasolini is really strange, I think he's a real genius (though I prefer his books over his movies). He was marxist and freudian but the italian communist party hated him as well as the psychanalyst community. His only defender in Italy was the Catholic Church. Pretty weird.

To all doubters.

It is supposed to be the most disgusting movie you have ever seen. That was the Marquis' point when he wrote the book and Pasolini's point when he made the film! Pasolini said he wanted to make a movie that was totally "indigestible", did you digest the film? if not, well neither did most of the people who saw it, but hey that was the fucking point!!!! Thats Pasolini!
Also the acts of the Marquis De Sade novels were not the acts of his life, yeah he was into some weird shit in his private life but more of a masochist than a sadist and there is no record of him being into kids. I think you are confusing what is, well what should be, their most disturbing work 120 days of Sodom, with both these mens lives.

And thats the end of the subject for me - now lets see what I can post next, maybe Snow White and her seven sons! :wink:

Grindhouse I didnt like it, A few scenes were OK like the woman at the end writhing around in the chocolate sauce was really well done, also the two shagging in the sugar was interesting but as far as the rest of the movie - It bored me shitless - no pun intended.
