Can only see you as a full source for the short docu Spud.

Is this an abridged version of the long documentory or is it completely differnt material?

completely different. It's to do with idea->screen, and storyboards.

The long one is a total making of, including interviews with the Weta workshop (or whatever they're called) who did LOTR, basically the whole thing from start (writing/choosing the actors) to post production.

actually... its the first part of the documentry, its just cut as though it looks like its a short documentry :lol:

Great news, there's going to be a dvd release after about 8 years of no news. Its at the end of november.

The bad news, its not known and perhaps doubtful whether the documentry is included. Universal did not include the long jaws documentry on the jaws dvd and they aren't really a company that gives a crap about the fans or its customers.
