according to razorback, they both have 1 complete source, however I switched the hashes round:
ed2k: Salo.Or.The.120.Days.Of.Sodom.1975.DVDivX-AEN.avi  [685.17 Mb] [Stats]
Removed from first post.

Me neither, when i saw this i even turned it off. And not because i was grossed out. Watched the remaining 30 minutes the next day just for the sake of completing it...

Well, obviously you're both watching it as a horror movie. It's not a horror movie. By making it abundantly clear that you do not understand that, you've invalidated your opinions.

In laymens terms - your opinion is wrong.

shut the fuck up fatpete, i didnt watch it as a horror at all, as it isnt one, but no matter what genre you try and fit it into (and try and look like some sort of elitist twat while your at it, congrats on a job well done) it's still a complete pile of crap as far as films go, hell its so boring it makes uwe boll movies look like really good movies, and thats really saying something, so "in laymens terms" your a moron

opinions are opinions there is no right or wrong opinion, so if you think you can tell people what's right and whats wrong then i suggest you go sign up to the government for your country

Now this is getting interesting

I didn't find "Salo" to live up to the hype, but it's still quite intriguing in its premise. Pasolini made his strange point and grossed a bunch of people in the process. Many people consider this to be his ultimate movie, but I think his other work is better.

Taste in movies. Now there's a subject I don't want to touch, but it's quite obvious maxpayne# prefers his movies to be more fast-paced and doesn't like rather slow-paced movies like Salo. It's just a matter of taste.

Personally I watch movies for two reasons (they might even combine in one good movie): to be entertained or for food for thought. Salo was the latter, but at the end it wasn't that good.

Teehee, it's so easy to get a rise out of people on the internet :) And getting angry on the internet is very constructive, you know.

In all seriousness, I happen to believe "Salo" is a very good movie, in every aspect. Except that maybe the SFX are a little lame in the ende, but come on - it's 1976.

Yes, I realized that was the way I came off, and that's why I added the satirical ending, in an attempt to lighten up my rabid tone. You didn't pick up on that, took it as me being serious, and got angry on the internet. Now excuse me, but I think that's pretty funny.

Think I'll throw this into daily conversations...

"Good morning Ted"
"Shut the fuck up"
"Hmm, guess he's a little angry on the internet."

or

"What's wrong with Earl?"
"His favorite tv show was just cancelled and now he's all angry on the internet"

I just saw a rapidshare post about this the other day but i cant find it :P

goto this page: http://firat1982.spaces.live.com/blog/
and do a search for "salo" on the page. its got all the parts for a 2 disc rip and a seperate file for english subs. i dont know if theyre still valid though.

if not, just do a google search for "salo rapidshare" or "salo 120 sodom rapidshare" or whatever, im sure there are a few different copies on rapidshare floating around.

if youre downloading for free, just remember that the wait time will increase until it maxes out at 100 minutes, so then just go back every 100 minutes until you get all the files.

There is nothing quite like Salo. It's no horror movie, but a protracted statement worth watching, if only once.

Yeah, this is definitely not a movie you want to see more than once. But that one time is crucial.

Especially since there is quite the backstory going on with this film too

For some reason I posted in this thread without mentioning I have this on DVD. Would a new rip be appreciated?
