It really doesnt matter to me either way where they go as I'm only posting stuff I find in search or bring over from winmx & the Tromas always end up in low quality.

What is puzzling me right now is why you have both quoted the HARD SUBBED INFECT Rip link in your replies but neither of you have moved it to low quality?

Well, just let me sneak in the quality battlefield to say I'd like a new rip for this one too, not only that but if Slayer is the ripper I'd love to check those special features, this movie is not only a great one and important piece of art IMO but it certainly has a dark atmosphere going on in the background, I'd like to see any documentary, interview or feature about the production or people involved.

Ah, and hardcoded subs is no good.

Its actually a layered component of the "international cut", the picture actually moves over the subs which is obviously impossible to do with softsubs:



It can't degrade the picture if it IS the picture, but for the record, the video quality is better without the hardsubs, its just not the same cut

I don't believe DVD or bluray are capable of subtitle processing of that level, which is why the DVD was hardsubbed... obviously the other disc had soft subs to preserve quality.

Not your rip no. I watched it long before you made your rip with soft subs then my kiwi mate got hold of a dubbed retail release & ripped that & thats the rip I currently have but not watched it yet either.

i'll just my copy up and if people want to get it they can if they don't no biggy
