"Bewitched Area of Thousand Years", a rare horror movie from Taiwan, 1991.
Director : Chak Ming
Cast : Ku Feng, Lun Tien Hsieng, Chui Ging Sin, Che Man Yik, Tin Ming, Li Jian Ping.

Source : Thai VCD. So, this Chinese movie is dubbed in Thai, but it's also subtitled in Chinese and English.

Synopsis : A snake god, prisoner in a cave since thousand years, takes possession of a man and transforms his arm in a snake. Under this form, the man rapes and kills women.
Twenty years later, the man bites his own daughter, who is also transformed. With the help of her fiance, of another man who wants to marry her, and a sorcerer, she tries to struggle against the malevolent snake god.

I just put this movie this morning, having seen it was unavailable on eMule...

(1991? - Hong Kong) (the credits were in Chinese! It was directed by somebody & starred some people.) A teeny bit o' skin; mild gore. · · · A Snake Devil has been trapped in a cave for a thousand years, but now he's possessed some poor schmuck whose arms turn into snakes and then he rapes women & rips their guts out out & chews on 'em. Twenty years later, that same man's daughter also gets possessed. Now it's up to her doctor boyfriend, the rival cop boyfriend, and a wacky wizard to force a final showdown with the Snake Devil. There's some nifty scenes of snake-possessed people in really bad makeup, a little sex, a little gore, and they end up with a hairy magical battle involving skull-grenades. There's a lot of fun reasons to watch this flick, and the plot is even coherent. However, it also has a surprising string of long, boring scenes where various cast members look worried but do nothing. It'll be a lot more fun with your finger on the fast-forward button.

Pretty Good Stuff
This is some pretty entertaining stuff from the bad movie end of things. The make-up effects for the snake/zombie man are hilarious. They are quite obviously fake as can be. It's almost pathetic how bad they are. Otherwise, since there were no sub-titles, the best thing to do is sit back and enjoy the ride. It's some pretty damn bizarre stuff.

C'mon dOc, I posted the caps, don't you see that quality is quite very low? Who cares to have the exact fps when we're talking about LQ, ultra-rare movies? It's not like you have to compare three rips and choose what to download, it's this one or nothing.

They are a nice thing to have. Just for clarification in case anyone was wondering about the specification guideline, specs are only really something that there's any real pressing need for them to be posted when the source can be hindered by it. When its clearly hindered at the source, and there's covering screenshots that describe better than mere specs would have shown, its pretty stupid to demand them, especially when its a known poster. If your in DVDrip, VHSrip, etc., or don't have screens (boo! :)), etc. then specs are needed. The necessity here shows a tad bit of navity on the point of posting them though.

In cases like this, where the source is heavily compressed, specs alone said a false impression of quality.

There's very little reason for posting specifications for a movie in this quality bracket, you can see its blocky and from a VCD. That's mpg1 -> Xvid, compression artifacts will be there irrespective because of the initial capture. Sure its nice to know in terms of device compatability, even though this will play on everything, but bitrate, framesize, etc. go out the window when its such a low quality source.

:)

The need for specs is to see that the encode is within parameters, isn't overly allocating to audio/video, or under allocating, giving a representation of potential problems and issues, etc. In this case, there necessity is pretty minimal.

Personally i always post them when i have them irrespective, but that's all force of habit. Its a good habit too, unlike my chronic masturbation... which has caused a lot of friction.

Sorry if the quality is so bad, but being the guy who originally shared this movie on the Italian website, I can tell you that it wasn't even a VCD, nor a VHS tape, but a 2nd generation copy of a VHS tape ! so the final result can be poor - but not worse than my only source !
If I have a better material, I can eventually share better results (like my recent rip of the Cambodian movie, "Arb" ("Vampire"). It was made from my own original DVD - so I have no merit
