Ha! Just clicked it and you know what? While I am still creeping to get your other rips, this one started immediately at 35k/sec. Man, ed2k is so esoteric. Thanks BTW :beerchug:

@ weezee: I suspect you will continue to have problems as long as you have a Low ID. You are the only person grabbing this at the moment, which is why you are seeing a higher than usual speed. I have given you a friend slot for "Sundown" on my other client to help you out a bit. You may have to get hooked up with another ISP if you ever want a High ID though.

Thanks for the slot. :D Yes, I know that, but despite lowID this problem occurred only in the past 2 months, after the DonkeyServers takedown. I have to think about ISP switch, because it is possible that I have to change phone number too, and I don't like the idea..

Since this is a "niche" site with a relatively small community, IMO its really important to build up credits with other members. I bet you don't have as much trouble with mainstream releases. Have you tried my last two SciFi releases? They were also posted at Sharethefiles and therefore are better sourced right now. No disrespect to Dead-Donkey - I love this site!

I was totally unaware of that site! :o I suppose you are referring to Something Beneath and Hybrid: I've got 98 and 22 sources (with many full) as I clicked them. So yes, it seems my problem is also a "niche" one. As for mainstream, well, to me mainstream means stuff availabla in my country (Italy) and when I add that stuff to the queue, I get a movie in about 40 mins, because I get many sources behind my ISP's NATs at full speed (internal is mostly optical fiber 10up/10down Mbit/sec). Unfortunately I am much more interested in "external" stuff like this posted here... :-/

Ok, now that I have read the qouted text, I don't think I have to download the movie.

With only 30 votes at IMDB, I don't think many people have. According to my upload queue, not much interest in this so far. I thought it would be a bit more popular. No worries - I have other stuff coming...

I think he was pointing the fact the the full plot is told in the quote, a spoiler I mean. Maybe I'm wrong.

Yes, I agree. I think you should remove some lines from the text.

1. Nobody reads such a long plot introduction
2. It covers the entire plot = spoiler

Yes, I was thinking about whether I should grab it or not. Then I've read through the quoted text. Since it tells the whole story - which is interesting and a bit twisted - I decided to skip the movie.

But thanks anyway.

Shakespeare gave away the fact that Romeo & Juliette die in the end, right at the beginning of the play. Anyone who does not download this film just because they read the full synopsis, are missing a gem of a movie. I thought there were some great scenes in this one, but I enjoy this old-school stuff in the first place.

Even in greek tragedies, the outcome was known. My point is that there is more to enjoying a movie than the twist at the end.

You're absolutely right. And thanks a lot for this movie, I love this kind of old titles, too often neglected these days. Click !
