Plot:
A family driving through a small town gets lost and winds up at a backwoods shack managed by Torgo, who takes care of it while The Master is away. The Master worships Manos, an evil deity, and he also wears a neat cape. When Torgo lets the family stay, The Master awakens and does mean stuff like burning off Torgo's hand and sicking his dog on the family pet. Meanwhile, The Master's wives wrestle for his favor.

Exactly.

But I've seen movies even from the 40s that deserved to be in HQ section, they were razor-sharp. As you can see, the sections aren't called "DVD rips" and "VHS rips", they are called HQ and LQ. This one looks shitty quality, even though it's a DVD rip. I don't know why I have to explain this for the 1000th time, LQ section isn't inferior, it's just for movies that don't look too hot. This one doeasn't and that's why it's here. Also, the act of moving a movie from one section to another is not meant to be an offensive act. FYI, I always take into consideration the age of the movie and older movies are judged less harshly.

If you think I'm wrong here you can always ask Spud for the final verdict.

Given the fact that this was filmed on 16mm film, this is a pretty good rip, it's grainy, but that's the way the film would look if projected

d0c, I think in all honesty for picture quality alone even if you had released / shared the original master reels it would still deserve to be in LQ because the source itself is low quality.

Having said all that, I'm looking forward to watching this, LQ or otherwise, I want to see if it deserves it's place as IMDB's worst film ever!
