Here it is...the elusive BBC classic horror movie The Woman in Black. This one serves to prove just how much American television sucks.

IMDb link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098672/

eD2K: The.Woman.In.Black(1989).XviD.AC3[Add9].avi

AVI File Details
========================================
Name.........: The.Woman.In.Black(1989).XviD.AC3[Add9].avi
Filesize.....: 700 MB (or 716,952 KB or 734,158,848 bytes)
Runtime......: 01:41:29 (182,474 fr)
Video Codec..: XviD
Video Bitrate: 767 kb/s
Audio Codec..: ac3 (0x2000) Dolby Laboratories, Inc
Audio Bitrate: 192 kb/s (96/ch, stereo) CBR
Frame Size...: 480x368 (1.30:1) [=30:23]
Frame Rate...: 29.97 fps
Source DVD is NTSC standard

Enjoy!

Edit: If you are wondering why I bothered with the AC3, you won't be once you see the movie. The sound adds a LOT to the atmosphere and the feeling of total isolation. You'll thank me. (besides the video quality is only as good as you can expect from an 80's made for TV movie...a higher video bitrate really wouldn't have made much, if any, difference)

Btw, the frame rate on this is 29.97 fps. Apparently Auto GKnot determined that it hadn't been telecined so it needed to retain the 29.97 frame rate. I'll update the first post with this info.

Addix, by any chance you have the English subtitles too? I'm having hard time understanding English accent

I've seen the theatrical production to this story and it's VERY scary watching the real actors. I remember the woman walking through the crowd from the back and her shawl brushed a friend's mother's arm. She fainted and needed a couple of brandy's afterwards to get her nerves settled.
Not seen this BBC production but I've got high hopes.

Kinda nice, this was. I felt that something was missing though.

Hehe, it shows just how doctrined you've become by American cinema, when you actually just wait for the surprise twist at the ending, showing how the guys you thought were actually good, were the bad ones anyhow. Glad it didn't happen.

I watched this a while ago and it blew me away. Well, not in the sense that I wasn't expecting it. Nigel Kneale is awesome. It just surprised me that it scared me so much.

Yeah, American cinema has the unenviable task of making up the mainstream in prtty much every country in the world. Of course, its going to mostly suck.
