the movie as well as this rip aren't very good. i last saw it when i was about 8 years old. back then it was a little scary. today it's more or less only boring. this is not my rip, i downloaded it for a nostalgic friend. anyway if someone's interested here it is:

yes i also thought it to be in colour and was very surprised today to see it in B & W. but as i wrote, the rip is not mine...so i don't know what went wrong.

Yep this one was made in colour. I just found a grainy colour taping from AMC (when it was a decent channel a loooooong time ago). This rip may be originally from a TV showing. It sometimes turns up on some stations in b&w for some strange reason. Also, there are 2 versions. The uncut US version and a slightly cut UK version. The cut is in the scene where Peter Cushing cuts his arm off. In the US version you see his severed arm hit the floor while in the UK version....no arm! Either version though is a classic movie and definitely recommended.
