Actually I'm already downloading it. I'm not a great fan of cheesy Jap horror flicks though... Don't know how it happened I clicked it. I guess it just sounded too crazy to miss it.

You forgot about the subs:
Stacy-Attack[1].of.the.Schoolgirl.Zombies.[iGs].[ArKay].rar
Stacy-Attack[1].of.the.Schoolgirl.Zombies.[iGs].(subs.2ya.com).rar

well
kinda kewl movie...
nice soundtrack...
well i am not fun of such gibby horrors like that...
cuz when they eat flash - it's not scary...
but movie is not bad.

but what i really hate in japan movies - HOW WOMENS LAUGH!
that pisses me off...
and what rating they get at IMDB
almost all japan movies r high-rated...
that sucks..
like example:
dl Female MArket not long ago - shit.. but has nice rating...

Agreed. I'm sick of happy endings, awful remakes of good movies, plots that could be written by a 6 year old kid, same old stories... Japanese movies are simply different - of course not all of them, but many are great.

@PrayeR: Female Market is a movie for a niche, an extreme and definitely not a good start for judgement of everthing japanese. Oh, and BTW, the girls have that stoopid laugh in real life, too. :)

nice to know I'm not the only one that feels that way.

Actually I think Hollywood ows all of us a BIG apology for 99,9% of all the movies they've made the last 10 years. I remember it started with 'Independence Day'.. it set an amazingly low standard for what piece of shit could be called a movie. then it went even lower... now we got things like Face off, Waterworld, XXX, Signs, Shanghai Knights, The Ring, Matrix 2, MIB 2, Blade 2, Insomnia... ahh.. I could go on all night.

here are some hints on how to make better films:
- 100 mill. $ less on special effects
- NO MORE CGI!!!! It does not look real and ruins the whole movie. It is impossible to get scared by a CGI monster. Use puppets, makeup, masks, costumes, rubber-suits, miniatyrs, or (preferably) stop-motion-animation! ANYTHING is better than CGI in a movie.
- 3 more months writing the script
- no more 'famous' actors that aren't any good to play leading roles just to get a bigger audience
- More Blood!!! When someone gets shot they bleed, and also their brains might very well paint the pavement
- More nudity!! And I ain't saying that just cause I like to see goodlooking naked chicks. It just looks stupid and unrealistic to see sexscenes whith ppl wearing all their clothes/underwear, or chicks taking a shower in a bikini, or foam always covering their privats..
- NO MORE REMAKES/DESTRUCTION OF CLASSICS!!!! Re-release it instead and add some bonus material.
- No more american patriotism. It might look/feel good to americans, but for the rest of the world it just looks stupid (see 'Independence Day').
- No more 'Scream' spinn-offs. Enough is enough!
- and try, REALLY TRY to avoid clich?'s. I remember when I was in shool I always got bad grades when using clich?'s. It's tiering. Try to work of the princip: If it's been done before, come up with something new, or do the exact oposite of what's previous.
And that's just a few I can think of now...

i agree with everything john_doe said, with teh exception of Signs as a bad movie, it was excellent....then the aliens launched an invasion and jsut buggered straight off after 2 seconds..maybe mel gibson farted and they all fled lol

but i definately agree about cgi, next thing you know theyll remake dawn of the dead with cgi zombies who can weld and talk and make a armoured car out of zombie limbs ala The A-team who dont want to actually eat people they jsut want to tell them tehyve got the best answer for scrabble and hire julia roberts and leonardo di craprio (not a spelling error) to star in it what a dark day for humanity that would be

well the remake is out next year so let's hope your very wrong

IMO they are too reliant on CGI nowadays, it should be used in post production to remove f*ckups like boom mics in shot, and perhaps digital skys and what have you, but i have the upmost respect for Peter Jackson for using model shots in LOTR. Wish he spent a bit more money on sets rather than cgi and bluescreens... the company doing the bluescreening wasn't very good :(

ah,
you shouldnt be too judgmental on hollywood movies. It's just a business. they try to appeal to the broadest range of moneyspending consumers, wich tends to be average to slightly below average intelligence teenagers with jobs but still living at home. they got the disposable income.
we poor horror film fans are just not as big a priority to please than the MTv crowd.

Stacy is worth a watch, definitely different. have also seen Junk ( ed2k: Junk(uncut).avi  [699.63 Mb] [Stats] ) and Wild Zero ( ed2k: wild_zero.avi  [627.48 Mb] [Stats] ) which were both entertaining as well. guess Versus ( http://www.dead-donkey.com/Old/horror/list/versus.htm ) is next.
