This might not be a work of art and probably never will be considered the stepping stone of mexican cinema either. Not even a representation of mexican cinema of all times (altough it can be considered a representation of the mexican cinema of the 1980's).
This is the mexican version of Evil Dead

This is the Mexican version of the Evil Dead. It has no English subs, but I think it's self explanatory. It was taken off a SAT Channel. Quality is OK

Plot Outline:  A professor suspects that a vicious killer may have discovered a
                way to return from the grave and continue his violent spree. His
                fears are proved true when a group of teenagers decide to pull a
                Halloween prank by stealing the killer's body from the morgue.                  When the teens recite an incantation from an old magic book over    
            the corpse, it begins to come back to life, along with all of    
               the bodies from the nearby cemetery.

They actually mix many famous film together, put a bunch of crappy actors, very low budget and make a crappy slasher heheheheehee
