Just a head's up, this file is corrupted and unwatchable! The picture is scrambled completely. If anyone has another rip of this, I'd appreciate it. Suggest this be moved to the 'dead' section. Bottom line: Avoid this rip!

are you sure?

i say this because i jus checked TCM A family portrait, which you have a prob with as well and it played perfect for me....maybe you have a codec issue? or maybe downloads are getting corrupted in some way?

That is weird. Both look currpted to me. (Quantization smudging) I have all the codecs I've ever heard of, so I don't think its a codec problem. I tried them in Zoomplayer, MPC, WMP, and on my standalone DXP1000, and they all played the same way. Any codec download suggestions might help though. More likely because eMule gets from multiple sources, one corrupt source ruins it, even when eMule says it 'recovered corrupted parts'. Any other rips of those two would be the best option for me I think. Other than that, I shrug.

well i jus thinks is a bit weird esp as they are both divx5, i would normally say a clean install of the codec but you say the same happens on a standalone player....tried 2 redownload the movie again? could be fine 2nd time round, i have had a movie sometimes that gets corrupted and wont go past a certain % but a cancel and restart cleared it up.

yeah man shit happens...but restarting those "corrupted" downloads should work out fine GrindCallus!
both files are verified.

listen to PN...give it a try...works out for me

Well I downloaded it again, and reinstalled DIVX5... Still no dice.... BUT I opened it up with nandub on a whim and it looks fine! Playing it however is still all scrambled. Havent burnt it and tried in my standalone yet, maybe it will work. Any other ideas would be welcome.

EDIT: Well I tried in the standalone, works fine, and Nero didn't give me a verification error this time. Why it won't play on my comp? Aghh...
