There are some other foreign dvds out there besides the most recent Les Contes de las Crypte from France. If you search under Masters of Horror, you can find a few more episodes that haven't been released on any of the other dvd sets like "Staired in Horror" and "In the Groove".

Actually upon looking at these, I am thinking that they may be dubbed over in German. Can anyone confirm that? I tried to get one of the french versions of Two for the Show, but that was also in French. :(

if they were released in germany, they will be fucked up someway....

*it is the german way*

Seriously, there's a very, very strong chance they will be dubbed.

I can remember HBO had a lot of trouble with some of the Tales, censorship doesn't really associate with TV with my noggin... I hadn't thought about that :(

That stinks. I may still try to complete them just to see if they are by some miracle in english, but it's slow going. I was hoping to be able to knock off a few more episodes that I don't have. :( Has anyone ever bought one of the complete sets that people sell on ebay?

Yep me :P

Anyway my Mac's back now and the episodes are fine I was just freaking out again :wacky:

Here's some more, I renamed them because they're all Cryptkeeper's episodes:
Tales.from.the.Crypt.71.(s6e06).-.The.Bribe.(Cryptkeeper).avi
Tales.from.the.Crypt.72.(s6e07).-.The Pit.(Cryptkeeper).avi
Tales.from.the.Crypt.73.(s6e08).-.The.Assassin.(Cryptkeeper).avi

Good deal. I've been thinking about buying them. Hooray for "The Bribe", I'm glad to see that one up here. I am definately going to download it. I hope that the dvds I buy are in good shape. I kinda think one person sold them, then everyone else just made copies and started selling them too. Basically, everyone is probably selling copies of the exact same sets.

Well I've got a DVD burner  and a PM button

I think that they started out in traders circles then somebody was cheeky and sold them on eBay. The quality is pretty good though - they're all VHS transfers with menus.

I freakin hate trading circles.... if everyone just shared / made available what they got, nobody would have no problems getting everything :matrix:

Guess its too communist for them.

Much appreciated releases. Quality is very good, and because of all the posters in this topic, I can see a series that gets no repeats over here, and isn;t available (beyond the movies) :(

How much is the ebay set of Tales? I wouldn't mind having them all on DVDr someday :)

Well if there are enough people wanting them (it's a 22 dvdr set by the way) then maybe I can do a deal with you all. Maybe ?30 plus postage? Let me know...

There's even some little extras on these discs 8)

TBH mate, cover the cost of the blanks and postage and you can have a copy anyway :) (although I'm notoriously slow as I'm sure the STR lot will attest ;) )
