Fileheaven had a system where they use keywords to allow easy notifaction to the modding team that a thread needs moving, merging, or deleting.

Implementing these keywords here might be helpful:

Merging

mergethis -> [Link]

use this keyword and link if you want / need a thread merging into another. Post this keyword in the newest thread with a link to the destination topic.

ie.
mergethis -> http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=12325

Moving

movethis -> [Section]

use this keyword to suggest that a thread be moved to a specific section.

ie.
movethis -> Higher
movethis -> Highest
movethis -> unverified
etc.


Use these two keywords if you want the threads moving or deleting. It will mean its easier to move verified threads to the right section, etc. This will mean its not left to chance that a mod/admin sees it before action is taken.

@mods, just use the search with the keywords "movethis" or "mergethis". once you've done the required action, delete the post so its removed from the search

lol, i'm painfully aware of the fact that people don't read sticky topics, but i can do that

is it possible to change the colour of the sticky topics so they stick out more? I dunno, like radioactive green or red? lol
Maybe then peeps will see them & read them more, or even each sticky a diffrent colour? no idea, might work, I have to admit to missing the stickys coz they blend in with the main posts

Could I add another request to everyone?
If you d/l something from an old post with no specs or screens, after you complete the d/l could you add some specs & a couple of sample screens please?
