Wes Craven's</i>
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
- 20th ANNIVERSARY EXTENDED CUT -

CAST & CREW:
Directed & written by : Wes Craven
Music : Charles Bernstein
Cast : Heather Langenkamp, Robert Englund, John Saxon, Ronee Blakley, Johnny Depp, Amanda Wyss.

NOTES:
One of the best horror film of the 80s, presented in an extended version with 12 minutes of restored footage.
This 99 minutes version of Wes Craven's classic contains alternate takes, longer scenes, extra dialogues, previously unused footage and a slightly different soundtrack integrated to the film. It is a fan-made cut, not a director's cut. The video & audio tracks have been remastered and remixed, so that the transitions between the regular cut and the extra scenes go as seamlessly as possible.

A full DVD-R version of this extended cut, with extras & covers, is available here:
http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=10011

I don't understand, STATS says no sources at all, and my client says "last seen complete - never"...

Dr.Sapirstein, are you online?

i tested when i saw the first one (both razorback2 and my client) and saw a complete source, but i've got no need since i got the DVDr which was released, and cancelled.

I had no problems getting the darkside or dvdr which were presumably released under the same conditions, has something changed in the setup Sapster?

Sorry, my computer went offline while I wasn't home. It's all back on now, and yes, released under the same condition as the DVDr version and the Darkside series :beerchug:

Anyone who can give me some more info about the differences between this rip and the unrated LD one found here: http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic. ... et+unrated

Is it just talk or extra gore scenes added in this "Fan cut" ?

I will dl it anyway to see it but would be nice to know in advance ;)

Thx *click*

The version in the other thread is the rip of the UK VHS, which featured one longer shot (Tina's dead body falling on the bed), and, separately, the extras which were included on the collector's edition VHS released by Elite a few years back (deleted scenes and so on).

The version available here as XviD and also on DVD-R is the longest print of the film, with extra scenes integrated to the film itself: a different extended intro scene, longer scenes, extended dialogues, new scenes, etc..., all edited together and remastered (picture was retouched so the extra scenes could blend in as seamlessly as possible, audio tracks were either created, remastered or altered to fit the cut, etc.
A slightly more detailed post is available on the DVD-R release thread here :

Thanks Phibes :)

To all the downloaders who'll ready this:
Please, once you'll have downloaded the file, can you keep it on PS for as long as possible? I'm the sole source for it + the full Darkside series and I'm afraid releasing + 70 files at once is a bit too much for an efficient upload for you guys...

I guess the best thing to do would be to announce it in different ed2k sites

Is anyone still sharing the DVD version? (I want it so freaking bad) :D

I'm still shareing parts 3,4,5 and the cover, I currently have part 3 on ps release. I dont have parts 1 and 2  had to move them on to make room for the 50 eps of tales which are still in share. If u have the first 2 parts i can keep the rest shared till u complete. :)
