That's a long shot, but.....
I'm desperately looking for the 156 minutes version of Dawn, in english.

This version is, to my knowledge, only available *dubbed in German*, on a Germand DVD edition.

It was unfortunately ommited for the kick ass Anchor Day DVD boxset released in 2004.

If anyone can help on this, I'll give him my first born; and the missus too.

Anyone?

You are correct, sir. It would take a man of your calibre to put together an ultimate edition in English. ;)

yeah, that anchor bay thing bites, it was supposed to be in the dead box set (best Dawn of the Dead setever), but unfortunately at the last minute they pulled it much to everyone's dismay.

I don't think it exists undubbed on dvd, i've never seen it... then again you know collector's. urrgghhh i hate how everyone pisses off into this l33t oh don't let anyone else see it mode. Nothing cooler than an ultra rare horror movie release.

I think its pretty safe to say, most members of this site if they had it it would be ripped (i'd hope so anyway), I would have thought it went without saying, but I'd imagine the request is seconded by everyone.

Spud's post pretty much sums it up.

I have the German version on tape somewhere but that's of no help obviously. :(

Re-editing "Dawn" with *all* the footage ever available (a version that would run about 161min. in Pal) with the proper score (90% Goblins) has been a long project of mine, but talk about a long, hard taskl. It would take a whole lot of time which I don't have these days unfortunately.

Not that it won't ever happen..

I candidly wondered if any other geek like me had already done it and had forgotten to share it online. You never know ;)
