Release Notes
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Infect was in a coma, there was a fight, names were called... but at the end
of the day, we were right... futurama is better than the simpsons.

We've decided not to play use CD sizes, the notion is antequated and
irrelevant to most people. If your in dire need of cdr burning,
you can split in virtualdub, although your better off just investing in a cheap
DVD burner. They are cheap, and you are cheap if you don't have one....
sorry, but its true. And no, we aren't going to encode in greyscale for B&W
tv owners. ;-)

Hello to the various organisations that monitor our thoughts, and to the
victims of infection.

To people that claim that we have made mistakes, we never make mistakes.

english subs only though in case you were getting your hopes up, its the anchor bay edition though, so anything with 25fps should sync up good if you need another language.

waaahhh???
hate PAL, how can you possibly hate superior picture quality?
Higher res, better colours, ivtc doesn't mess things up... how could you possibly prefer Never The Same Colour? :o

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ntsc+v ... 8&oe=utf-8
And this one:
http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Articles/P ... vsNTSC.asp
NTSC gets owned

Or is there some variable in the equation like crap tv/dvdplayer that causes trouble?

PAL's the clearly superior system, my friend. Better resolution and no jerkiness due to telecining/duplicate fields.

yeah if they are older than the end of last year, these are brand new anamorphic transfers "HD"-but not hd as they like to call them :)

@new9, those are on the 5th anchor bay disc:
Code:
"Phantasmagoria" -documentary (97:39)
"Greg Nicotero: The Gory Days" -featurette (21:06)
"Phantasm: Genesis" -featurette (20:27)
"Reggie's Phantastic Tour" -featurette (16:11)
"Phandom" -featurette (17:53)

I guess they can be ripped.

disc 1 has:

Code:
Behind the Scenes -featurette (19:59)

btw, audio commentry for this one:
Quote:
Audio commentary with director Don Coscarelli actors Michael Baldwin, Angus Scrimm and Bill Thornbury

:)

Haha LOL Sorry to stir the shit with the PAL comment. Spud was right, crap TV. My monitor is fine. For film I prefer film framerate, though. Stupid old TV, but to be fair is got good picture.

Anchor Bay U.K. 5-DVD Remastered Set has the same discs as the sphere set, just different packaging. :)

Some image comparisons here: http://www.film-talk.com/forums/index.p ... topic=7740 (bear in mind, the poster Jayson is a major prick and believes his word is gospel at FilmTalk). ;)
