Once again the nanny state raises its head:

Arrested for a copy of Scrapbook?

I know its not law yet, but I wouldn't bet against it.

Interesting comments here as well:

What bullshit (as usual in such cases) this is. What if there were no violent porn, or no porn at all. What would the people watching it do? Violent porn probably satisfies the needs of many 'fetishists' so if it weren't available, wouldn't it be easy to understand that there would be more victims if this is harder to get/find?
They should ban idiotic nosy old women like this. Typical example of political correctness.

BTW: Is this 'violent porn' really forbidden (in the UK)? Why? It's not harmful to the actors, and it's not real. What's the problem?

violent porn won't get past the censors no, but the government doesn't do anything against the internet or ownership. The proposal is that you'll be treated as a criminal if you own it.

Another instance of governments not working for the people but against them. Governments should be afraid of the people

One response from the second link you posted....

If a killer who enjoyed looking at images of fish, and then proceeded to murder someone with a pirahna, force the government to ban anyone else from ever looking at fishes?

Perhaps someone should execute this white haired mother slut. The government might be forced to act against such 'campaigns' in the future.

Agreed but I'm sure it should be made into a movie that I can touch myself to...
