A truely British Olympic Logo....

This is one for anyone who's a veteran of the internet, and an absolute classic. Many of you have probably seen the incredibly shitty logo for the Olympics, well the bbc ran their own competition and seemed oblivious to the true meaning of one of its entries...

Check out the logo, and if you don't get it the description sells it :lol:

"Here is my design for the Olympic logo. It is very simple and so memorable. The hands represent Britain pulling together to reveal the Olympics."

This made it into BBC's selection of 12 logos on their website :lol:

Haha, very funny! I'm not an internet veteran but it takes very little fantasy to see on what kind of picture that drawing is based on. I think it's a wonderful joke and had a good laugh, especially with The Register's report.

although i wouldn't say it's a british only approach. ie. in poland we have few instances of using goatse inspired pics/comix to show web blogs authors' oppinion towards some peculiar ideas of polish regime :wink:

supposedly yes, but who really knows... with info taken from fun sites one never knows. especially given that this pic looks like made from two different ones. this lube tube looks like imposed on the original pic of woman sitting at the bank.

but two issues:
the original pictures is quite funny in itself.
if it's fake, then it's still a damn good one :wacky:
