thanks a lot for this, but seeing the R rated on the back of the dvd I wonder, is this uncut? I mean, imdb sure listed a lot of savini gore bits that were ripped off this one back in the day, is this version closer to uncut or something?

Yeah, its uncut....isn't that gory of a movie...there are a few spots of it like those pictured but it doesn't seem cut to me and I have seen it.
