I notice: this forum still misses some of the things I've seen in cinema, I'll never forget. Original format is Super8 (with use of stopmotion). Made by Shinya Tsukamoto, also the maker of "Tetsuo: the iron man" (with the huge metal penis) and "Tetsuo II: Body hammer". This is a predecessor of the Tetsuo's.
Tsukamoto made all of his metal machinery himself. A lot of the things used in this film has been enhanced, refined and reused in Tetsuo.
This film is hardcore, japanese, dark future, cyberpunk shit. It tells the story of Denchu Kozo (Rod Boy), who was born with a rod sticking out of his back. This results in being laughed out and beaten up by his schoolmates. But seems his existence is intended to save the world from darkness.
The low quality of this rip has for a part to do with original super8 source.
I'd like to find somewhere in the world a better conversion, or the original. But this is the best I've found. Especially the sound is rather poor... The image has the trashy super8 effect, it's far more better on the big screen, but this is certainly enjoyable too!
