Hello 2 all at DEAD-DONKEY,

i am looking for a B/W film that came on channel 4, in the uk over 10/17 years ago.
i am sorry but i dont know the name, or i would of searched for it.
the film is about a man who goes to a art gallary, and always sits at the same spot, looking at the same picture.
the picture is of a old castle.
one day he see's something different, one of the windows on the castle has lit up.
theres a glow of light, he takes a closer look and then, cant remember if its always been there.

he gets up and takes a closer look, thats when it happens, he's fallen into the picture, and is standing in front of the old castle.

i mean i can go on, but it will take abit of space
anyone here remember any film like this or even better have it

Suck a scene is familiar but I can't think of any movie in black and white.

the scene where the man finds him self in the picture,
he see's the old castle in front, looks around and he's like in a dark forest.

he see's the glow from the top window and makes his way towards the castle, when he gets near, the doors open, he walks in, and no ones there.

he walks up and makes his way into the room with the light on, he walks towards the window, and then behind him, a man comes in.
the man is scared and stands firm, the other man in the castle talks to him, and tells his story.

i cant really remember more, BUT at the end of the film, the man in the castle walks out of the castle and runs, the other first man, who walked in, is trapped, the man that was in the castle who ran out, is shown at the end of the film to have walked out of the picture and is standing in the same spot where the other one used to stand, in the gallery.

the film is better than i stated, thanks for your help.
