| It has been twenty-eight days since Jim (Cillian Murphy), a young bicycle courier, was knocked off his bike and injured in a car accident. When he wakes up from his coma, the world has changed. wow. great great movie. reminded me alot of 'Day of the Triffids' though. it's practically a remake... don't matter none though. both are great and Triffids wasn't the worst idea to remake.

We try LOL On a sidenote, has anyone seen the TV series of the Triffids. I saw it whenI was a boy, late eighties I think. Been trying to find it for years but to no avail. I blame the French.

didn't know there was one. I'd love to see it. just completed listening to the bbc radio show. quite different than the movie. much more focus on human relations , and the triffids are more background characters.

The TV series was cool, but not very long IIRC, maybe 6 or so 30 min eps, altho I aint that sure as I was just a whipper snapper at the time. As far as I know it was never repeated and never released on DVD either, as to a video release, maybe many years ago, but I have never found any trace of one. It is a good series tho, focuses more on the characters and less on the triffids and special effects. On a side note, again LOL, anyone remember the Tripods? I believe there were 2 seasons of this, altho only season 1 has been released on DVD up to now, which I possess.
