We used to have Bravo, but that's turn really, really shit :(
Sci-fi channel is the best thing we got atm when it comes to stuff like this.

I'm hoping we get this in our area. I've already contacted my cable company to ask them to check into picking it up. I don't know if that really makes a difference or not, but it's at least making an effort.

I've heard rumour that Joe Bob Briggs is on board. I can't find anything that confirms this though. If it's true, I will be one very happy lady. I still miss Monster Vision horribly. :(

Yeah Bravo was ACE for cult/Horror movies :(

They had Troma seasons etc etc.

Those were the days!!!

I really hope we get something like this on SKY in the UK in the future!

I live in hope

Purple.Nightmare, "only recently got bravo and is crap!!! "

It bares absolutely no relation to what it was like in the mid-90s/early-90s

It showed horror movies every other night. I first saw Toxic Avenger, Class of Nuke 'em High, Shivers, the brood, videodrome, etc. on bravo so I owe it a lot. Now it's just shit, absolutely nothing at all like it was. The only thing that's similar is the logo, but it used to be so damn weird and have ace films.

Seriously been arse raped by executives... we're talking worse than fox.

I can't even watch bravo anymore...This Horror channel sounds good in premise but is it just going to be like AMC or something like it where they cut the living crap out of films? If it goes that way I will have little use for it.But if it's like the Action Channel then I am on board all the way

If you chack the FAQ out they claim that they will show full UNUT versions, in widescreen whenever possible!

And that they are hoping to be able to relay on book-end advertising!

i.e at the beginning and end of film it is sponsered by a company, that way no advert interuptions!!!

They sound like they are really horror fans trying to genuinly do a proper Horror Cable Channel.

GOOD LUCK TO THEM!

yeah, everyone please watch em and they may expand overseas :)

Worked for Sci-fi, paramount, etc.

Wonder if there's anyway to pick up the station over here.

I didn't read the FAQ...then it it sounds way cool...probably be watching that nightly then...Hopefully it isn't going to be alot of mainstream stuff but anythign dedicated to horror has got my vote in...finally a decent channel to watch out of all the shit channels Comcast has to offer.

Long wait though. October 2004. Could be a good source for rare movies that will end up on ed2k. They have a speciality channel for everything else, don't see why this one won't be able to make it. Haven't had "tv" since february of last year... almost two years. Don't miss the shitty service and the commercials.
