I find myself floating away from the internet WAY to much recently.

Just don't have much time or interest anymore.

I come on, see what's released, click what I want, and then release what hasn't been.

That's it.

I don't even play games online anymore.

/stick with my mame cab.

Am I the ONLY person that does this?

I float around a few online forums (fora?) but don't spend an awful lot of time in front of the PC, it's mostly on just for downloads/uploads.

Don't even play games anymore, reserve the PS2 for that.

I rarely play games anyway, and never play online anymore, damn wankers accuse of you of cheating if you do too well. As for net, the last few days I have been farely quiet, due to my ongoing battle with Linux LOL

Online gaming was a fad for me, far too samey and reptitive after a while. However, I am a big fan of multiplaying. This might sound like an oxymoron, but current emphasis, I believe, is on the wrong end of the market altogether. Co-operative games will replace current models eventually.

I've posted a lot about this somewhere, but can't remember where, but the evolution in network gaming is not on bar with technological advanced. Current Network limitations make it impossible for net gaming to support the kind of co-operative atmosphere that was created with IDs Doom. At the moment for me, only really enjoyable multiplayer is experienced either via a lan or on a console.

This combined with the decline of the role and importance of graphics will see the development of multiplayer gaming; or at least this that's my hope.

So sayeth the spud :Spud:

{JUNG Mode ON}

People don't worry ! And don't go to a shrink just yet !

Kids don't understand yet that nerves can die off and loose sense....And kids don't understand that when you grow up you'll have to cook, do the laundry, washing the friggin' dishes YOURSELF....And kids don't understand ( READ : DON'T WANT TO) understand that, whatever they're convinced of they're experiencing, it isn't what their bodies are actually experiencing.....as in waisting precious hours in front of a F****** Lightbulb.......believing they accomplish when it's actual a routine programmed to lose....
Can't fool sentience forever....

Take a sabbatical !!!! It worked for me....

{JUNG Mode off}

Now where's me damn controller ; I'll have that friggin shark for sushi now !!! ( Resident Evil remake)

Or ten years from now we'll still be playing FIFA 2014 , gran Turismo DetroitShow '14 edition , silly one on one fighting games etc....

I'm afraid online games will always be abused by sweaty teenagers...It's after all, about fun , isn't it ? And some people's definition of that is spoiling other people's party's.....

And NOTHING BEATS 4 players at your home , squeezed in a 3seat couch playing Track 'n field !!!! period !

Not when they can't progress unless someone else helps them ;) Twats will be eliminated from the equation almost instantious if they follow Game Theory.

@satan, i am not tired of internett and pc.... i use me pc before i use my t.v.(idiot box) but a question to you satan...

did YOU buy a pc to only download movies?

anyway... before i nearly used my pc 24/7 but that was becouse of work, now i have diffrent work so i dont use it as much as i did before...now days i use my pc for forums/irc/icq/messenger and p2p phone for chat most of the time. i have many friends outside my country and its cheaper to use pc than phone and faster than snail mail, thats what i do couple of hours a day it depend on how much spare time i have. downing movies from hhah... nope! i have got tired of b-movies at this point. pc gaming not much but i have alot of retro computers and consol to play with, if i want to and have time... i guess we all are waitning for doom3 and hl2 :)

@spud, have u tryed oubreak(2001) for pc? that game has a great co-op ;) ..... if u want real gaming these days u must try out these pay to play online games... thats the future... sad but true...

I kinda miss the days when I would have trouble finding something to do... now there just aint enogh time anymore..

This is my whole life: forum reading, other movie reading, watching movies, reading books, work, spending money, the occasional vacation, eating, sleeping, household chores, groceries shopping, friends, driving back and forth, family, weekends and now even a girlfriend!

I can't find time to write stories anymore, nevermind play games. sucks.
