Without The Patriot Act, the FBI would need to go through the courts to tap your internet connection...Just like tapping a phone. In fact, for MOST tapping operations, the FBI has to go through the court system even WITH the Patriot Act.

Lots of countries fought or tried to fight against them (with exception of Benito Mussolini - italians), concidering how many countries there are in europe i wouldntve said fascism takes hold that easily (u might include josef stalin in russia but at the time it wasnt part of europe and still now only some parts of russia are in europe) a lot of other countries u might refer to about fascism that are now in europe are only recent (last 5 years or so) entrants to europe so arent really Core Europeans and in a lot of the countries where fascism is happening there are also underground resistance's to fight against it to try and crush it

I will be honest here, and this will be my only contribution to this thread now, as a ppl I detest Americans, I do like most of them when I know them on an individual basis however.
