It looks like these nasties i'm sharing is getting spread alot quicker than i thought... so i'm putting yet another one in my share as a release.

OK, there's a lot of crap but....

Anthropophagous, The Burning, Cannibal Holocaust, Last House on the Left, Nightmares in a Damaged Brain, Tenebrae, Zombie Flesh Eaters, The Beyond, The Evil Dead and Late Night Trains are all 10/10.

And there's a lot of the lesser stuff that I reckon is far superior to a lot of more modern stuff, Absurd, Blood Bath etc etc etc.

This one isn't bad either, don't expect a splatter movie though, it's the tone of incest running throughout the film that caused the problem with this.

ok, this is my opinion for movies you named:

Anthropophagous - great for what it is (cannibal slasher movie)

The Burning - One of the best slashers in my opinion and is gory as hell.

Cannibal Holocaust - Not a big fan of this, but I have to respect it. Not a bad movie either, but just not that great. I think it;s little overrated.

Last House on the Left - one of the most overrated horror movies I've ever seen. I guess I was expecting too much from this movie.

Nightmares in a Damaged Brain - Slow, boring and dull, but insane gore fill in this movie helps it a lot.

Tenebrae - Terrible Argento work.

Zombie Flesh Eaters - Masterpiece :beerchug:

The Beyond - Even better then Zombie Flesh Eaters

The Evil Dead - one of my favorite horror flicks

Late Night Trains - never seen it.

well, friends that's my opinion. But there are several movies that were listed as "Video Nasties" and I found them they kind a suck. :beerchug:

Yeah I forgot House on the Edge of the Park. REALLY nasty, required viewing for anyone here. Nightmares in a Damaged Brain is slow-moving but it delivers gore by the bucketload, again essential viewing.

Late Night Trains is similar to Last House on the Left, but set on a train (of course) hence its alternative title of Last Train on the Left.

Last House on Dead End Street was never classed as a nasty in the UK, presumably because it was never properly released. A limited number of tapes were released as the Funhouse, which is presumably why Tobe Hooper's film of the same name was listed. To my knowledge only one copy has survived, a Betamax with no case.

Nightmares in a Damaged Brain may be slow moving but it has enough psycho element to it to keep it interesting during the slow parts...one of my all time favorite movies :wink:
