Hellboy was your typical cgi splendor IMO. Nice visuals, but I've forgotten almost everything about it, even though it wasn't that long since I watched it.
In 3 years noone will even remember the name, exept for loonies like us who actualy bother with films older than 2 months.

Downed the DVDR but not got round to watching!

Mmmmm it's hard to choose bewteen the two cause they both are from a different genre, Hellboy beiin more the family flick suitable for all ages (as it's supposed to be IMHO) and F vs J the more typical slasher flick

Mmmmmmmm i dunno if i could rate the movies I gave em both 8 out of 10.

Ow i forgot to mention another flick i watched yesterdat : Requiem for a dream

Which was also pretty good

Btw give hellboy a try it's a nice watch !! Nice CGI indeed !!

I thought the script for requiem for a dream was very and i mean very mediocre, my brother told me about this movie told me i was very very good bla bla bla i hve seen several movies with the same concept

The way it was directed was kewl though very nice camera work and decent acting. I rate this movie on a scale from 0 / 10.................... - 8

Come on John there's nothing that can beat good ol FREDDY hahahahahahahah

I liked Hellboy a lot, it was one of the best comic-conversions I ever watched. I also very liked to see Lovecraftian monsters around ;)

Thought Hellboy was stupid...soem good parts but I walked away with a this movie kind of sucked feeling...even with ron perlman who imo was the only redeeming factor of this movie....of F Vs. J was awesome...loved that one.Even if it was a bit MtV'ived to the extreme there was soemthign about it that I just enjoyed...notihng I can say about Hellboy I could really say as a positive...I rippoff of spawn imo. Will probably never watch hellboy again where as F Vs.J I have watched repeatedly....you wanted an opinon..well there it is.I am sure soem of you will be more than upset with it but hey...I am used to beeing the odd man out here

I enjoyed Hellboy. It was fun for what it was. I remember really liking F vs J. It was the best that a movie with that name could possibly be, Well, except for the abundant overhead shots that started to get cheesy. I'm with you on Requieim,, emperor, except the score. I found that there was no character arc. They just started out in crap and ended there. Despite the camerawork, etc. it felt hollow. I'd give it a 6. Of course, the over-hyping of it usually makes me think of it as a 5.

Well, since the scene is in the movie, and I watched the movie, I think I'm ready. "It was good". Hmm, another dare completed. I think I'm going on Fear Factor next.
Spun was great. Truly great. The characters developed throughtout the story and it was hilarious. That's what Requeim lacked. Entertainment. When you go out to make art and you succeed, that's what you get art, good or bad. WHen you set out to make entertainment and suceed, its muich better. If you're an artist the art takes care of itself. I knew I was going to love Spun as soon as I heard the acoustic version of Mark of the Devil at the beginning. Its beter than the original version.

I've forgotten FvJ totally...someone remind me again, was it like AvP or somat. On the other hand I loved Hellboy, watched it as a family flick and we all enjoyed it. Good, unnderstated CGI, great story - Ron Perlman was especially good, geez even the gurl was nice. It was a little different from the norm which I find appealing. Moved fast and kept my attention from the great beginning to the climax. Yeah was a t least a 7/10. Oh and I loved the sequence with him and the kid on the building talking about girls and stuff   Quality!

But hey I liked The Village too, so huh!!
