This junkhead threatened me permanently that he would ban me because my client connected too fast. Most of you know. that I don't react friendly to such threads. Usually no reason to post here. However, when I put this client, as I always do, in my guarding.p2p file, I got (and get) about 4000 hits from this asshole per minute. Just wonder whether is is some sort of denial of service attack.

Hey Wargand, just tell him to fuck off thru the mule. If that fails just visit his mother in her nursing home and remove her knees.

This is an interesting thought: Can I send messages to clients, which are in the guarding.p2p file. What I find much more interesting how often I get messages, that I am actually banned for bad behaviour, but when I put these clients in the block file, I get still dozends or more connection attempts.

Guess we will just to accept the fact not everyone is as friendly as us guys. We are alone in the cyberverse, destiny has chosen us to become the balance between good and evil, nerds and geeks, spotty faced gob shites and, er, you get the message.

Fight tha powa.

Depends on which mod he's using, NeoMule lets you ban users :-o

no it doesn't.

Old versions did, but that was a 1 hr ban.

I'm using NeoMule 0.42g Mod 2.54 which has the ban option. I've never used it, although I was tempted to by some dickhead with the username http://www.emuleech.com :matrix:

your behind, http://www.neomule.tk , newer version much better.

His client would be banned automatically anyway, since its a leech client.

I don't know emule (fortunately), but is there a way for a user to manipulate the 'to fast' settings? I wonder whethere some people use the automatic ban feature as leech feature. Just set your client to ban everybody who connects more than once a day and you have a perfect leech client. One hint that there is something funny, is that clients, which apparently banned me, still try to connect to me. At least some of them. Damned, I don't care too much for a single leech, but they should do it quietly and switch off those cursed automated messages.
