That's probably the warmest part of Canada(Vancouver). If there's any place i'd go where i could stay in Canada but enjoy some warmer weather it's there. I don't think they go much colder than -5C.

Were such a huge landmass that the weathers different everywhere. Vancouver area is the warmest in the country but rainy. Alberta, Saskatchewan(Where I am :D ) and Manitoba don't get too much snow(Usually  ) but winters are cold as fuck because it's all flat farmland so when the wind picks up the windchills are usually around -40/-60C. Ontario and Quebec don't get as cold as we get here but they get shitloads of snow. The maritime provinces get piles of snow also. Newfoundland always seems to get hit hard every year.

Where do you live now JD?

I live at the very south-east of Norway. (on that little 'thumb' there, if you're looking on a map) Not long from Oslo, or the Swedish border.

You also got some good film schools to recomend in Canada (preferably Vancouver)? For now I've found UBC, which I'm pretty sure I'm gonna aply to, but I should probably aply to at least 6-7 or something, and just cross my fingers....

I would imagine they got some good film schools in Vancouver also JD. It's known as Hollywood north because most films are now being made in Vancouver to take adavantage of our weaker dollar(although it's pretty good at the moment). The movie companies save a lot of money making them in Canada and that's got the workers back in Hollywood fuming and because they're losing jobs like crazy.

ThEdEaDLiVe, I know, read up on that. My problem is just finding what schools to aply for! There's just so goddamn many of them, and I don't wanna end up going to a shitty one. Made a wrong school chioce before, and it ended in tragedy!
