Emperor, you should try this with your useless US adaptor whilst you're waiting for your charger!!
http://www.darkain.com/portability.php?portid=1&page=5

I don't have a homemade one, but I have a third party one and it's pretty useful

:D That's really great, I'm so happy you got it working and had the balls to attempt it!

Hope you're having fun with your DS now, we'll have to play online when they get tunnelling working.

And nice HHAH pictochat pic! Hopefully more people will post some up if they get a DS :)

Hey Krug, yeah well thought I could only make it worse right :) hahahaha
Fortunate that i didn't melt my DS
But the USB port only delivers a very small amount of DC current imho so there's nothing there can go wrong !!

And yeah if they get that online thing working it would be great to see you online :) What games do you have at the moment??

I only have Mario 64 and the Metroid Demo.
Kinda hooked at Mario atm !! THNX to you

Hahahahha yeah the HHAH drawing took more time to make compared to the making the cable :beerchug:

so this will be the HHAH DS photo topic

so c'mon people let's post some kewl pics :)

I have Mario 64, Feel The Magic and Wario Ware (JAP Version) but don't have the Metroid demo because it wasn't bundled with the Japanese DS which I imported :(

I already completed Wario Ware and almost Feel The Magic, then I will tackle Mario!!

Ahhhh Nice set of games you have there !!
You don't miss out on the metroid demo, it's nice to show the possibilities of the touch screen, other than that it's just boring :)

At least that my opnion. Anyway is the mario kart for the gameboy advance any good?? Cause i've seen several floating on ebay

This is like a new encounter with Nintendo in years for me and i have not followed it very much, i'm kinda xbox-tized

So what are some nice games for the gameboy advance, since fot the DS there are not that much yet !!

Well my favourite game for a while for GBA has been Zelda: Minish Cap. Other than that the Wario Ware games for GBA are also really good, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, Astro Boy, and all the Mario games in fact, are good games that spring to mind. Mario Kart GBA is good if you like the SNES version, but I prefer the N64 version, so I was a little disappointed, but it's still a great game. Mario golf is surprisingly good too. But if you're looking on eBay, chances are you'll end up with a counterfeit copy, eBay is inundated with them. If you really want to pirate, then you should just get yourself a flash cart, it still works with DS. It's really worth the money, but it's not nice to hurt Nintendo

hmm i looked on that auction, but it's hard to tell really. they make a point to say it's original, but even so in their feedback for another game somebody wrote
Quote:
Fast delivery, well packaged but not made by Nintendo, Nintondo?

so i'd guess this guy sells fakes. plus he's from hong kong, plenty of fakes coming out of there.

You can read this from Nintendo forums on GBA piracy, but the images seem to be dead: http://forums.nintendo.com/nintendo/boa ... age.id=421 they mention the mis-spelling of nintendo on there.

err he also says "tried them", why would there be a need to test them if they're official? Seems an odd thing to say.

Guess you're right why test them when things are original.
So these pirate copies are similar quality or are they just crap????

I didn't even know these things existed :matrix:

Thnx for bringing this up guys !! :beerchug:

Yeah I bought only pirated copies for my GBA. Cause we haven't got any offical legal Nintendo games until last month. Last month Nintendo began to sell its offically goods, I wonder if I can find pirated ones now. And the price is, 55$ for original games; 14$ was the pirated ones. And I didn't have any problems with the pirated ones but I really need to get a flash cart.

you buy a blank cart, you hook it up to your pc, you download a rom, transfer the rom to the cart and it plays like you have the original cart.

The bigger the cart, the more roms you can fit on :)
